Okay, let’s be real.
Sometimes life throws you a curve ball, or a shit storm, or a UPS truckload of lemons. And spoiler alert, everybody gets them at some point. Nobody avoids shit storms 100% of the time. It’s just not possible…
The great thing about a UPS truckload of lemons though is that once you heal (and I promise, healing is always possible…) you can do one of at least three things… ya, ya, ya… make lemonade… but more specifically:
REMIND YOURSELF that you’re strong and a survivor
TEACH OTHERS that they’re strong and survivors
USE YOUR PAIN to make something beautiful
This painting is exactly that. It looks like a garden, but beneath this garden is what I like to call a psychotic under layer. THE shit storm of shit storms in my life, covered up by the beautiful catharsis of healing .
